Originally from Hearst, Ontario, Victoria Lamontagne moved to Ottawa in 2013 in order to study at the University of Ottawa where she obtained her degrees in Political Science cum laude and Juris Doctor cum laude. Victoria is perfectly bilingual and can practice law in both official languages.
Victoria began her legal career in northern Ontario where she completed a short internship with the Kapuskasing Grand-Nord Legal Clinic. She also completed another internship with the Department of Justice in the Family Law division.
In 2018, Victoria joined Vice & Hunter LLP as a summer student and proceeded to complete her articles in 2019/2020. Since joining Vice & Hunter LLP, Victoria has gained valuable experience in a wide range of areas, including: employment law, wills and estate, real estate transactions, municipal law, business law, corporate law, family law, defamation law, real estate litigation, estate litigation and personal injury litigation. Thanks to her diversified experience, Victoria has developed both litigation and solicitor skills.
Victoria became a member of the Law Society of Ontario in June 2020. We are pleased to announce that she is now an associate with Vice & Hunter LLP. Victoria’s practice will focus on Real Estate, Wills and Estates and Business Law.
Victoria is also a member the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.
